Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, sorting systems).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and implement timely repairs.
- Ensure all machinery is operating safely and efficiently to support logistics flow.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel and management.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to equipment downtime emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or electronics preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and experience using PPE.
- Physical ability to access and work on various types of equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics systems is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
