We are looking for energetic Picker/Packers to join our Salt Lake City, Utah warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately locating and picking products according to customer orders and then efficiently and securely packing them for shipment. This is a physically demanding position within a dynamic logistics environment. Success in this role requires speed, accuracy, and a strong adherence to Safety protocols. Your contribution is vital to ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve products from warehouse storage locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify order accuracy and item conditions.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Operate manual material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Meet productivity targets for picking and packing operations.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment setting is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions and product identifiers.
- Must be capable of performing tasks requiring sustained physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, and moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Understanding and implementation of workplace Safety standards.
