Job DescriptionWhat’s Your New Role About? Stats Perform is looking for a Team Lead for their Rugby Data Operations department. In this role, your primary responsibility will be supervising the collection operations and ensuring that the data is captured to the highest possible standard in the most timely and efficient manner. You will be managing 15 part-time staff and be directly involved in their shift allocation as well as being a point of contact for them throughout their shifts.
Here’s Your Role Broken Down:
- Supervising live and post data collection for our Rugby Operations.
- Problem solve during live operations and proactively look to drive and implement process and workflow improvement.
- Ensure training of new hires is conducted in a timely effective manner, producing analysts who meet the required standard to fulfil our collection obligations.
- Maintain a constant focus on data quality and create an environment that promotes continuous improvement. Work to consistently meet the departmental KPIs.
- Ensure that client complaints are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, investigate root cause and implement preventative actions.
- Manage designated projects from start to finish, report to Rugby Ops manager on progress, flag blockers and ensure all stakeholders are aware of status and timelines.
- Serve as a people manager to your direct reports. Ensure clear expectations around performance and behaviour. Have open, regular communication with analysts.
- Ensure that the Data Operations team adheres to and complies with all ISO 9001:2015 objectives and regulations.

- Evening, weekend and night-time availability essential
- Excel, Power BI, or SQL experience
- In-depth knowledge of major rugby competitions
- Analysis or Sports Coding experience
