HR/ER Consultant

Our Transformation, HR and Change team offers a temporary client‑based role to cover a period of leave, lasting 9‑12 months.

This position works directly with a specific client to provide strategic and operational HR support to senior management.

Key responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Employee relations – managing investigations, supporting third‑party hearings, and union engagement.
  
• Upskilling the HR team and wider organisation, including developing systems, structures and processes.
  
• Participation in other HR functional areas and strategic projects as required.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• At least 5 years’ experience, including substantial employee relations exposure.
  
• Experience with informal and formal resolution mechanisms, union engagement, and supporting hearings such as WRC or Labour Court.
  
• CIPD qualification; ideal to have a formal HR qualification at primary degree or master’s level.
  
• Experience within public sector or through consultancy.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organisation.
  
• Excellent project management, organisational skills and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Strong performer both independently and as part of a team.
