About the Role

Are you a passionate Chef ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join our vibrant Buffets team at Butlin’s Skegness! We’re on the lookout for experienced chefs who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens and take pride in delivering consistently high-quality food.

As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you’ll work closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, exceptional standards, and full compliance with food safety policies. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests!

In this role, you will:

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, setting the standard for the Commis Chefs you support, train, and mentor.
• Help your team grow while ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely.

This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends. Shifts are paid fortnightly, with breakfast shifts from 4am–12pm and dinner shifts from 11am–7:30pm. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our business. Plus, live-in accommodation may be available for those over 18 relocating to the area (subject to DBS).

We’re seeking chefs with proven experience in busy, high-volume kitchens. This role is not suitable for beginners or those without professional kitchen experience.

You should be:

• Hardworking, reliable, and determined, with a genuine commitment to high standards.
• Energetic and enthusiastic, understanding the impact of great food and teamwork on the guest experience.
• Confident in leading others in a fast-paced environment, holding a Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
• Skilled in managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices.
