Position: Room Leader
Hours: 36 hours per week (4 days)
Salary: £13.44 per hour

At our nursery, children's emotional well-being is our top priority. We are open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we require flexibility in working varied shift patterns within these hours.

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development.
• Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality documentation.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
• Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments and identify training needs for staff.
• Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
• Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
• Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years - Essential
• Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
• Fluent in written and spoken English - Essential
