Demand Planning Manager

A Demand Planning Manager is needed by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based electronics multinational client. The Demand Planning Manager will lead the forecasting and demand planning process for multiple finished goods products, ensuring accurate projections to support production, inventory, and customer fulfilment. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of electronics sector market dynamics. The role has responsibility for managing the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning business process, customer demand forecasting, managing inventory and the SIOP execution associated with customers and products.

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Business Unit and Finance teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
  
• Monitor demand trends, customer orders, and market signals to adjust forecasts proactively.
  
• Manage and lead the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process including monthly reviews.
  
• Optimise inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital.
  
• Implement and improve demand planning tools and processes.

• Degree in business, supply chain or engineering or combination of demand planning experience and certifications.
  
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management.
  
• Strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies and ERP planning systems.
  
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with Data Visualisation tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools is a plus.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Experience of electronics, technology or semiconductor sectors preferred but not essential.
