Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and capable professional to help strengthen and expand the security posture of our global environment — including major connectivity and data centre projects currently underway.

In this hybrid technical and analytical position, you’ll play a critical role in supporting enterprise infrastructure, security controls, and compliance initiatives. You’ll work across security implementation, monitoring, and governance activities, contributing directly to ISO 27001 certification efforts and ongoing cybersecurity operations.

This role includes participation in an on‑call rotation as part of a small, supportive team.

• Configure, harden, and maintain firewalls, servers, and network devices
  
• Deploy and manage cybersecurity tools such as endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions
  
• Apply patches, manage software/firmware updates, and reduce system vulnerabilities
  
• Support secure deployment of new and existing infrastructure across multiple sites
  
• Monitor security logs, correlate events, and respond to anomalies
  
• Investigate alerts or potential security breaches
  
• Support internal and external penetration testing activities
  
• Collaborate on implementation of ISO 27001 controls and documentation
  
• Use GRC tools to track compliance, audits, and control effectiveness
  
• Assist with audit preparation, assessments, and certification activities
  

• 
  
• 3–5 years’ experience in cybersecurity or security‑focused infrastructure roles
  
• Strong understanding of networking, system hardening, and threat vectors
  
• Experience with enterprise security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability management)
  
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
  
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and secure cloud or on‑prem environments
  
• Experience in regulated or certified environments (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
  
• Scripting capability (PowerShell, Python) for automation
  
• Experience in global or multi‑site organizations
  
• Familiarity with GRC or governance tools
