Senior Psychologist

Medforce Recruitment are seeking a Senior Psychologist to join a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) based in Donegal. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced psychologist who is passionate about supporting children and young people with complex needs and their families.

As a Senior Psychologist within the CDNT, you will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing assessments, interventions, and supports to children with developmental disabilities. You will play a key role in service planning and delivery, clinical supervision, and promoting best practice within the team.

• Provide psychological assessments and interventions for children and their families.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the CDNT, including SLTs, OTs, PTs, and Social Workers.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff as required.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional standards.

• Recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
• Eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
• A minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years working with children with disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport.

• Experience working within a CDNT or paediatric disability service.
• Experience in service development or supervision of junior staff.
