Endpoint Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Device Security Engineer on a day-rate contract basis. This role will focus on securing endpoint and device environments, implementing modern device management solutions, and strengthening endpoint protection across the organisation.

• Design, implement, and maintain device and endpoint security controls across enterprise environments.
  
• Manage and optimise Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or similar tools.
  
• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint protection platforms including CrowdStrike and/or Microsoft Defender.
  
• Develop and enforce device security policies, compliance baselines, and configuration standards.
  
• Monitor endpoint security posture and respond to security incidents affecting managed devices.
  
• Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure device onboarding and lifecycle management.
  
• Support vulnerability management and patching processes for endpoint devices.
  
• Ensure device security aligns with organisational security policies and regulatory requirements.
  

• 
  
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Device / Endpoint Security Engineering or a closely related role.
  
• Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF, or equivalent.
  
• Strong experience implementing and managing endpoint protection platforms, particularly CrowdStrike and/or Microsoft Defender.
  
• Experience developing and managing device security policies and compliance controls.
  
• Strong understanding of endpoint threat detection, response, and remediation. xcfaprz
