Are you an experienced operator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are hiring a Reach Truck Operator for our Houston, Texas facility. This critical position involves operating specialized machinery to move and store inventory at various heights within our distribution center. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods, maintaining accurate inventory placement, and contributing to the overall productivity of our logistics operations. Safety is our top priority; therefore, comprehensive training on equipment operation and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. We are seeking individuals with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, stock, and retrieve inventory.
- Perform pre-operation checks on the reach truck to ensure its safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by placing products in their designated locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all logistics and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience required.
- Ability to work at heights and operate machinery in a safe manner.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to perform Lifting and physical tasks as needed.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
