Position Summary
The IT Enterprise Applications Developer Intern will provide short-term support to the Information Technology team across a variety of enterprise applications, automation, reporting, and emerging technology initiatives. This role is designed to offer hands-on learning, structured onboarding, and guided exposure to real-world enterprise IT environments rather than ownership of a fixed or guaranteed scope of work.
Assignments and responsibilities will vary based on organizational priorities, project timelines, and the duration of the internship. The intern will work closely with IT staff through onboarding, mentorship, and supervised project work, and may assist with technology support during internal events or special initiatives as needed.
Hours Per Week: 21 hours a week | Tuesday- Thursday 9am - 5pm| Pay Rate: $20 an hour
To be considered you must be a student enrolled in an undergraduate program. The Internship will run from June 1st, 2026- July 31st, 2026
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Applications & Automation
Supporting the development or enhancement of operational intake, escalation, and reporting solutions, including form-based data collection, automated routing, and scheduled summaries. Assisting with the creation of small applications, scripts, or automation workflows (such as Power Automate, scripts, or lightweight tools) to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. Helping build, test, or maintain data connectors and integrations between existing enterprise systems under supervision. Data, Reporting & Analytics
Assisting in the development of reports or dashboards to supplement gaps in existing work management or IT service systems. Supporting the creation or refinement of Power BI reports and visualizations that provide insight into trends, volume, and operational outcomes.
AI & Emerging Technology Exposure
Participating in internal evaluations of AI agents and models within Copilot Studio, including basic configuration, testing, and comparison of outputs across models. Assisting with documentation of findings related to applied AI experimentation and enterprise data grounding. Gaining exposure to the full AI lifecycle—from agent creation and grounding through testing and evaluation—based on project needs and timelines. Testing, Documentation & Rollout Support
(As Needed)
Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing activities for new tools or enhancements. Assisting with rollout preparation, including drafting knowledge articles, user guides, or internal documentation to support adoption.
Operational & Event Support
(Occasional)
Providing IT support for internal events or special initiatives, which may include preparation, validation, troubleshooting, or on-site assistance, as scheduled and coordinated in advance. Supporting the IT team during time-sensitive operational periods, as needed. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ACTIVITIES
Basic experience with programming or scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar). Familiarity with structured data, forms, APIs, or system integrations. Exposure to reporting or analytics tools (Power BI or similar preferred).
REQUIRED AND PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CREDENTIALS
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in a accredited university/college
