We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to help us evolve market data curation for Yahoo! Finance. This involves processing a wide variety of financial and corporate data feeds to make raw and derived data available to users and partners. xcfaprz The associated systems are composed of Java, C++, MySQL, Redis, Hadoop, Apache Pulsar, Apache Storm, Apache Spark, among others.

• Excite, enthrall and delight our millions of members by taking ownership of and having accountability for some of Yahoo’s flagship, user facing properties including Yahoo Finance, Yahoo/AOL Homepages or Yahoo Sports
• Collaborate with Product Managers and talented engineers across international offices to deliver new user facing features, APIs, enhancements and bug fixes
• Innovate around our scaled architecture while leveraging the latest technologies and adhering to industry best practice
• Write high quality, performant, clean code in Java and mySQL among others
• Write unit tests, functional tests and end‑to‑end integration tests
• Participate in system architecture, design and code reviews within cross‑functional teams
• Be part of an agile scrum team and demonstrate constant progress through proof of concept, sandboxing and prototyping
• Seek opportunities in our day‑to‑day workflow and process to improve quality and efficiency from initial ideation to deployment
• Contribute to our CI/CD pipelines and related automation frameworks
