Mechanical Project Manager

This is a delivery-first Project Manager role on a live hyperscale data centre project.

The successful candidate will take clear ownership of site delivery, manage interfaces, control programme, and act as the senior on-site representative. Scope, responsibilities, and decision lines are defined early, and issues are addressed as soon as they surface.

There is a clear progression path into an Operations or SLT role beyond the initial project. Brooklyn is the starting point, not the end state.

• Full day-to-day ownership of site delivery
• Programme control and disciplined short-term planning
• Interface management with Tier 1 contractor, client, and subcontractors
• Control of safety, quality, and sequencing
• Early identification and escalation of risk
• Commercial management of the project in conjunction with the commercial lead
• Calm, consistent leadership on site
• Representing Modulise credibly and transparently at senior site level

This role suits someone who prefers order, preparation, and repeatable execution over constant fire-fighting.

• Strong experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
• Proven delivery experience on complex, live sites
• Comfortable working site-based and abroad
• Experience interfacing with Tier 1 contractors
• Trusted by clients as a reliable, competent site lead

• Mechanical background strongly preferred, ideally:
• HVAC
• Cooling systems
• Building services
• Experience managing mechanical packages within data centre environments
• Ability to understand and challenge sequencing and installation logic

Candidates without a mechanical background may be considered where data centre delivery experience is particularly strong.

• Irish payroll preferred, standard PAYE, pension, and benefits
• UK-paid candidates may be considered where experience is an exceptional fit
