Depositary Assistant Manager

We are looking for an experienced Depositary professional to join a growing Depositary team supporting the oversight of a range of investment funds. This role will focus on ensuring that funds operate in line with regulatory requirements through effective monitoring, oversight, and verification activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in performing and reviewing core Depositary activities, including cash monitoring, asset verification, oversight of fund operations, and regulatory reporting. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong operational Depositary experience who is comfortable reviewing work, managing oversight processes, and supporting client servicing activities.

• Perform and review core Depositary oversight activities across a range of investment funds
  
• Monitor and review cash flows and cash reconciliations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  
• Conduct asset verification checks to confirm that fund assets are properly recorded and held
  
• Provide oversight of fund service providers, ensuring operational processes and controls are functioning effectively
  
• Review and support NAV oversight activities, identifying and investigating any exceptions
  
• Support client onboarding processes, including operational reviews and documentation checks
  
• Carry out due diligence reviews on service providers and fund structures
  
• Prepare and review board reports and client reporting relating to Depositary oversight activities
  
• Review work completed by junior team members and provide guidance where required
  
• Escalate issues or breaches where necessary and support the resolution of operational queries
  
• Contribute to maintaining strong internal controls and regulatory compliance within the Depositary function
  

• 
  
• 8+ years’ experience xcfaprz working within a Depositary function
  
• Strong knowledge of Depositary oversight activities, including cash monitoring, asset verification, and operational oversight
  
• Experience reviewing operational outputs such as reconciliations, oversight checks, and regulatory reporting
  
• Understanding of UCITS and alternative investment fund structures
  
• Experience supporting client onboarding and due diligence processes
  
• Ability to work in a hands‑on operational role, reviewing and completing Depositary tasks where required
  
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and investigate discrepancies
  
• Experience preparing or reviewing board and client reporting
  
• Strong stakeholder and client servicing skills
