Job Summary:
Opportunity for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist at our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is vital for efficient operations and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and managing inventory records. This position requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy within our logistics framework. You will play a key role in optimizing stock levels and reducing waste. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy and turns.
  • Manage the return process for damaged or incorrect items.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations related to inventory handling and storage.
  • Oversee the proper use and storage of PPE by staff handling inventory.
  • Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure inventory accuracy supports overall Logistics goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Understanding of inventory management best practices.
