This position involves standing for extended periods, moving packages, and performing regular Lifting of items weighing up to 45 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare shipping labels, manifests, and other required documentation.
- Package products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify shipment contents against order records.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain an organized and clean shipping station.
- Adhere to all company Safety standards and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE .
- Report any shipping errors or discrepancies immediately.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
- Assist with inventory tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting .
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and general computer skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 45 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with shipping procedures and carrier requirements.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
