Role Overview

As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) and manual machines to perform essential machining operations. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements.
  • Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
  • Interpret work instructions and select appropriate tooling.
  • Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials.
  • Perform quality inspections and apply Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of your workspace.
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Work rotating Day/Back/Night shifts as needed.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a lean-manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with machine control systems (Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, Haas).
  • Proficiency in precision inspection equipment.
  • A self-motivated attitude with strong facilitation skills.
  • A commitment to quality and functionality.
Qualifications:
  • HNC Engineering preferred.
  • Relevant Health and Safety awareness.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
