*The Role - NPI Manager*
We are seeking an experienced *New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager* to oversee the launch of new hardware and integrated systems from concept to full-scale production. You will act as the bridge between R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management to ensure every product meets technical, commercial, and operational readiness requirements.
*Key responsibilities include:*
* Develop and implement a structured NPI process, including stage gates, deliverables, and governance.
* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product transitions from design through pilot builds to volume manufacture.
* Ensure manufacturing readiness, validation, and compliance with industry standards.
* Drive continuous improvement in NPI practices to optimize time-to-market, cost, and quality.
* Report progress, risks, and lessons learned to senior stakeholders.
*Ideal Profile*
* Proven experience managing complex hardware or electro-mechanical projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
* Strong knowledge of NPI or manufacturing introduction processes.
* Hands-on expertise with design for manufacture (DFM), design for test (DFT), failure mode analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA), validation builds, and production readiness assessments.
* Experience in structured project delivery frameworks (PRINCE2 or equivalent) is advantageous.
* Excellent leadership, organization, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and practical with strong problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
