We are looking for an experienced *2nd Line IT Support Engineer* to provide *dedicated on-site IT support* for one of our key clients based in *Central London*.
This role will suit a strong support engineer who enjoys a *hands-on, user-facing environment* and taking ownership of day-to-day IT support within a professional office environment.
*You will be the dedicated on-site engineer embedded within the client’s London office*, acting as the primary point of contact for IT support while working closely with our wider infrastructure team.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide *1st and 2nd line desktop support* to office users
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and Microsoft 365 issues
* Manage *Active Directory users, permissions and Group Policy*
* Support meeting rooms and *AV/conferencing systems*
* Carry out *routine maintenance, patching and backup monitoring*
* Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers where required
* Assist with *IT projects and system improvements*
*Skills & Experience*
* *3–5+ years’ experience in an IT support / desktop support role*
* Strong knowledge of:
* Windows Server & Windows 10/11
* Active Directory & Group Policy
* Microsoft 365
* Networking fundamentals
* Remote Desktop / Terminal Services
* Desktop hardware, printers and mobile devices
* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
* Experience with *Autotask or similar helpdesk systems* desirable
* Virtualisation exposure (VMware / Hyper-V) beneficial
*Location:* On-site – Central London
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £45,000.00-£49,000.00 per year
