Remote Senior Practice Accountant

A well-established accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This is a primarily remote role, with a requirement to attend the Galway office at least once per week.

This position would suit an experienced accountant with a strong background in accounts preparation and tax, rather than audit.

Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

• 
  
• Preparing and managing payroll
  
• Bookkeeping and maintaining client records
  
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  
• Preparing tax returns and self-assessments
  
• Working with a portfolio of SME clients
  
• Providing general accounting and tax support to clients
  

• 
  
• ACCA, ACA or CPA Ireland qualified
  
• Minimum 5+ years Irish accountancy practice experience
  
• Strong experience in accounts preparation and taxation
  
• Audit experience is not required – a general practice background is preferred
  
• Ability to commute to Galway at least once per week
  
• Strong communication and organisational skills
