Our client, a leading professional services organisation, is seeking an Associate Director / Manager – Insurance Risk & Actuarial to join its growing insurance advisory team in Dublin.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of the firm’s non-life insurance advisory practice, working with both domestic and international clients on a wide range of actuarial and risk projects.


The Role

  • Work on a variety of actuarial and risk consulting engagements across the non-life insurance sector
  • Support projects such as actuarial peer reviews, pricing analysis and regulatory advisory work
  • Contribute to climate risk, emerging risk and market research initiatives
  • Participate in international projects and cross-border advisory engagements
  • Provide actuarial support on secondments or project-based assignments with insurance clients

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver actuarial and risk consulting services across a range of client engagements
  • Lead project workstreams including planning, budgeting and delivery oversight
  • Provide technical input across areas such as reserving, pricing, Solvency II, ORSA and risk management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different practice areas and jurisdictions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Reserving, Pricing, Solvency II, ORSA or Insurance Risk Management
  • Knowledge of the insurance regulatory and legal framework
  • Experience working with actuarial or regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17, Solvency II, xcfaprz EBS, BSCR or US GAAP (desirable)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical situations
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to challenge ideas constructively and contribute in a consulting environment
