Jr. Estimator / Project Manager

Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000

The Role: Architectural Apprentice & Technical \"Turbocharger\"

You don't just read blueprints—you dissect them. While others see a standard window schedule, you see the missing power pockets, the complex mounting depths, and the 1/8\" discrepancy that could stall a project. You aren't just an assistant; you are the high-level technical support for our Lead Estimator and Project Manager. Your goal is to be a Force Multiplier: by handling the high-velocity data and technical take-offs, you empower the rest of the team to focus on high-level strategy, effectively recovering the \"space and fun\" that defines our culture. Looking for someone who wants to learn and grow within the company for years to come. 

1. Estimating Excellence & Technical Analysis (50%)

You ensure our technical data aligns perfectly with the architectural vision.

• The Deep Take-Off: Perform high-accuracy quantity counts and technical measurements from complex architectural sets.
• Estimating Foundations: Build the baseline \"shells\" of our bids, ensuring every line item and motorization requirement is captured accurately before the final pricing strategy is applied.
• Sample Coordination: Manage the lifecycle of fabric and hardware samples during the Product Specification phase to ensure Architects and Designers are fully supported.

2. Project Precision & Documentation (50%)

You bridge the gap between an awarded bid and a perfect installation through rigorous document control.

• Surgical Order Entry: Translate awarded bids into precise Purchase Orders
• AI-Enhanced Analysis: Utilize custom Gemini AI tools to scan 100+ page specs for hidden requirements and draft technical RFIs to prevent site errors.
• Close outs: Assemble final close-out documentation—including warranties and service agreements—that fosters lifelong customer loyalty.
