Senior Product Engineer

Institutional rental housing is entering a new era. Legacy CRMs, point solutions, spreadsheets and fragmented workflows are no longer fit for purpose. Lette is building an AI-native, agentic back office that automates property operations end to end. Think Rippling plus Anthropic for rental portfolios.

We are shipping daily and already powering live operations. With ambitious goals for 2026 and beyond, this is your chance to shape the product, team and company from the start.

You will work closely with the founders and early customers to design, build, and scale the core platform. This is not a narrow IC role. You will influence architecture, product direction, and how we work as a team.

• Work across the stack using TypeScript, React, Node.js, Prisma and PostgreSQL
  
• Help deliver intelligent, agentic operations across leasing, rent reconciliation, maintenance, compliance, and finance
  
• Integrate with core systems, fintech providers, and industry APIs
  
• Leverage our distilled LLMs and predictive models through tools like SageMaker, Bedrock, Arcade, and other AI-native infrastructure to power smarter workflows
  
• Own features end to end with full autonomy from design to deployment
  

We do not expect you to be familiar with all the tools we use. What matters is your curiosity and ability to learn fast.

• 8+ years in fast-paced engineering environments, ideally at a startup or scale-up
  
• Exposure to infrastructure and backend (we use Prisma + PostgreSQL, hosted on AWS Fargate via CDK)
  
• Product-mindedness: you care about what you build and why it matters
  
• AI-native thinking: excited about what AI can do and how to use it practically (e.g. prompt chaining, function calling, semantic search)
  
• High agency: you find problems, fix them, and communicate clearly
  
• Generalist mindset: happy to jump between frontend, backend, infra, and debugging
  
• Strong collaboration: async and remote-first experience via Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub

• Experience with scheduling systems, workflows, or proptech
  
• Familiarity with Anthropic, Pinecone, or vector databases
  
• Experience building internal tools or agentic flows using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
