Description

Xeinadin are looking to appoint a Credit Controller to join our Northwood hub in Santry, the role will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, managing high-value accounts, and mentoring junior team members. This role plays a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow and minimizing credit risk.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value and complex accounts.
  • Lead and support the credit control team, providing guidance and training.
  • Develop and implement credit control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor aged debt reports and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve disputes.
  • Prepare monthly reports for senior management on debtor performance.
  • Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit control, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Additional Requirements

Education: Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. xcfaprz Professional qualifications (e.g., CICM) are an advantage.
