Veterinary Practitioner – Small Animal (Fixed‑Term Contract, Full‑time or Part‑time)

Shenick Veterinary Hospital in Skerries is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, progressive team on a fixed‑term contract (minimum six months) with a start date from April 2026. The role offers flexible working that adapts to how you want to work, includes a salary of up to €55 000 DOE, and provides a balance of clinical variety, surgical opportunities and a predictable rota with no out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties.

• Build a stronger surgical focus if desired, with support for case planning and time in clinic

• VCI‑registered Veterinary Surgeon
  
• Confidence in routine consultations, case work‑ups and standard surgeries
  
• Junior vets with competence and ambition are welcome to apply

• Salary up to €55 000 DOE
  
• Monthly 40‑hour week (part‑time options available)
  
• Predictable rota: Monday–Saturday 8.30 am–6.30 pm (one Saturday 9.30 am–4.00 pm every three weeks)
