**Key Responsibilities
*** Provide senior-level technical support across multiple client environments within managed services and project engagements.
* Manage and resolve high-priority and escalated technical incidents, following established incident, problem, and change management processes.
* Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents and ensure resolution within agreed SLAs.
* Escalate technical issues internally or to relevant vendors where appropriate.
* Proactively identify potential system issues and resolve them before they impact operations.
* Perform systems management design activities, including patching strategies and upgrade planning.
* Monitor and report on capacity management and performance metrics.
* Act as a key technical design resource for customer projects and new opportunities.
* Develop and review technical proposals, including high-level designs and solution estimates.
* Produce solution specifications and low-level design documentation.
* Implement and deliver infrastructure solutions within client environments.
* Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation in line with organisational and client standards.
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
**Key qualifications:
*** Candidates must hold
**VCP and/or VCAP certification
** and have experience with at least three of the following: VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF); vSphere; Site Recovery Manager (SRM); vSAN; Horizon; Workspace ONE; NSX; vCloud Director (vCD)
* 4+ years’ experience in data storage and management, including FC and iSCSI SAN implementations (design experience desirable).
* 3+ years’ experience with Veeam or other backup solutions.
* Strong experience implementing and configuring virtual and physical infrastructure solutions.
* Experience with capacity planning and infrastructure sizing methodologies.
* Design and implementation of high availability solutions.
* Experience with cloud management tools is advantageous.
* ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
* Security experience beneficial.
* Linux experience advantageous.
* Scripting skills for system administration and automation tasks.
* Full driving licence.
* Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
* Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to team knowledge sharing. xcfaprz
