- Main Contractor The Role Our client, a leading main contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their project delivery team.
This role offers early involvement at Pre-Construction Service Agreement (PCSA) stage, with the successful candidate initially based from Head Office for several months before transitioning to site once construction commences.
This is a high-potential role with a clear pathway to Assistant Contracts Manager for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities Support the Contracts Manager across pre-construction and live project delivery phases Assist with PCSA activities including design coordination, buildability reviews, and technical input Liaise with consultants, designers, subcontractors, and internal project teams Review and manage design information to ensure it is fully coordinated and construction-ready Coordinate design development through to approved workshop drawings and technical submissions Carry out and oversee setting out and levelling works once on site Plan and sequence works to meet programme targets Manage material procurement, deliveries, and site documentation Resolve technical issues and manage RFIs with design teams and consultants Oversee quality control, BCAR coordination, and health & safety compliance Supervise direct labour and subcontractors Requirements Degree in Engineering or a related construction discipline Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer with a main contractor Strong understanding of construction sequencing, design coordination, and site delivery xcfaprz Experience contributing at pre-construction or PCSA stage is advantageous Confident communicator with experience interfacing with clients and consultants Strong organisational skills and ambition to progress into project or contracts management Why Join?
