AV System Designer - High-profile immersive installation project 2 Month contract London Based Company - Hybrid £400-550 Per day A global studio specialising in designing and installing complex fixed AV and immersive installations have recently commenced work on a very high profile project and require an AV System Designer for an initial 2-month contract. This AV System Designer role suits someone with proven experience in AV system design and can step into live projects and produce detailed technical documentation in REVIT. You'll be designing system architecture within the building model, coordinating with MEP and architectural disciplines, and specifying equipment and mounting solutions for demanding physical environments. What you'll be doing: Producing AV system designs in REVIT including equipment positioning, spatial coordination and building services integration Creating 3D coordination models in REVIT showing equipment mounting, cable pathways and service coordination Producing equipment schedules, mounting details and construction documentation from the REVIT model Calculating optical requirements including projection geometry, sightlines and display positioning Supporting installation teams with technical queries and design clarifications What they're looking for: Proven AV System Designer with strong REVIT experience producing BIM-coordinated designs for fixed installations Experience designing AV systems for corporate, commercial, cultural or experiential environments Ability to work within multi-discipline REVIT environments and coordinate across architectural, structural and MEP models Experience with equipment families, custom content creation and spatial coordination in REVIT Comfortable specifying equipment, calculating system requirements and designing mounting solutions Able to work to tight deadlines on high-profile projects Immediate or near-term availability Contract details: Initial 2-month contract with possible extension Day rate dependent on experience Central London studio environment This AV System Designer contract suits an experienced professional working natively in REVIT, comfortable with BIM coordination and producing detailed equipment specifications and mounting solutions for complex physical environments.
