User Interface Designer

Role Overview

Design and develop modern applications or dashboards with a strong emphasis on the presentation layer and analytic storytelling. This role combines UI engineering rigor with the ability to translate complex data, relationships, and statistical patterns into clear, concise, and visually compelling narratives for audiences ranging from senior management to technical executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and presentation ready visualizations using reporting tools such as Power BI, balancing technical accuracy with clarity and executive readability.

• Engineer high quality front end components using Angular and related frameworks, with a focus on scalable and maintainable presentation layer architecture.

• Design intuitive user interfaces that clearly communicate complex data relationships, trends, and correlations.

• Apply data visualization best practices to highlight trends, anomalies, and statistically meaningful patterns without over engineering or oversimplification.

• Partner with UX/UI designers, data engineers, data scientists, and product owners to ensure visualizations accurately reflect underlying data and business intent.

• Translate KPIs, KRIs, and operational metrics into tailored views for varied audiences, from high level executive summaries to detailed technical perspectives.

• Integrate data from multiple sources (on prem and cloud based), including Snowflake and ServiceNow, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and governance.

• Optimize UI solutions for performance, scalability, security, and WCAG accessibility compliance.

• Leverage GenAI, Copilot, and AI assisted development practices to improve development efficiency, code quality, testing, and automation.

• Develop and maintain automated UI testing frameworks to ensure reliability and long-term maintainability.

• Contribute to architecture discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams.

• Participate in agile ceremonies and support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in front end or UI development.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

• Hands on experience with modern UI framework

• Demonstrated ability to combine UI engineering with analytic storytelling

• presenting complex data in simplified, structured, and visually effective formats.

• Experience creating visualizations through reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.

• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with state management.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Jest) and modern SDLC practices.

• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering executive level dashboards or enterprise reporting solutions.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow data models or ITSM/ITIL platforms.

• Knowledge of performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
