Über

We are seeking an experienced SAP EHS Consultant to join our project team during the Build Phase of a major SAP S/4HANA implementation.

The consultant will be responsible for translating approved design documents into fully configured, test ready SAP EHS solutions covering Incident Management (IM), Risk Assessment (RA/JSA), Management of Change (MOC), and Audit Management (AM). This role requires deep hands on configuration experience, integration know how, and the ability to work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to deliver a robust, validated EHS solution.

Key Responsibilities (Build Phase Focus):

Configuration & Solution Build

  • Execute detailed SAP EHS configuration in alignment with signed-off Functional Specifications and Fit Gap outcomes.
  • Build configuration for: Incident Management (incident types, actions, workflows, reporting)
  • Risk Assessment & JSA (risk matrices, templates, hazard catalogs, controls, approval structures)
  • Management of Change (change types, workflows, integrations with RA)
  • Audit Management – planning , preparation, and execution

WRICEF Definition & Functional Support

  • Create functional designs for WRICEF objects .
  • Work closely with ABAP, BTP, and integration teams to validate technical designs.
  • Ensure testability, performance, and maintainability of build components.
  • Integration & Cross Module Alignment

Build and validate EHS integration with:

  • HR / Business Partner (persons involved, supervisors, org data)
  • Plant Maintenance (PM) (work orders, functional locations, assets)
  • Materials Management (MM) (chemical/hazardous substance data)
  • Workflow / Notification processes
  • Conduct integration mapping workshops and resolve cross-functional design dependencies.

Data Strategy & Conversion Support

  • Define data objects, mapping rules, and transformation logic
  • Collaborate with data migration teams to validate templates and transformation logic.

Testing Readiness

  • Develop test scenarios, test scripts, expected results, and test cycles for Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Support defect resolution and configuration adjustments based on test outcomes.
  • Ensure traceability from requirements → FS → configuration → test cases.
