Light Duty Cleaner

Job Summary

The Light Duty Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment at the Milo-FAIS facility. This includes cleaning offices, washrooms, breakrooms, and common areas to ensure the health and safety of all employees.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect offices, hallways, washrooms, and other common areas
• Wipe and sanitize tables, counters, sinks, and other surfaces in breakrooms and kitchens
• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and vacuum carpets and rugs where applicable
• Dust furniture, shelving, window sills, and other surfaces
• Empty garbage and recycling containers and replace liners
• Refill washroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness of shared appliances (e.g., microwaves, fridges, sinks)
• Clean interior windows, doors, walls, and other high-touch surfaces
• Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management
• Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation procedures

Education and Experience Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience considered an asset
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail, reliability, and strong work ethic
