CNC Machinists [1958]

Our client, a designer/manufacturer and global integrator of welding and assembly systems and material handling systems, is in search of CNC Machinists to join their team

NOTE:

• $27 - $29/hr
• Days, Afternoons and Shift work possible
• Temp to Perm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and the sequence of machining operations using knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and the methodology and procedures of machining
• Verify conformance of the detail to specifications by using measuring instruments such as scales, calipers, micrometers, Vernier, and fixed gauges
• Recognize the functions of the specific Controller capabilities program parameters to load, evaluate and run a specific program
• Input additions, deletions, and changes to the machining program as instructed by the CAM department
• Decide and ensure assigned functions can be completed on specific machines

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience
• Must have experience either Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controllers
