Shipper/Receiver – Contract Role

Straight Day Shift

We’re seeking a motivated Shipper/Receiver to join a growing manufacturing environment on a straight day shift . This is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience, work with a supportive team, and be part of an organization that values safety, quality, and growth.

What You’ll Do

• Ship, receive, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Handle large machinery and heavy pieces with rigging/lift truck equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and process courier shipments.
• Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality, keeping detailed records.
• Package outbound goods (including exports) with attention to special requirements.
• Follow ISO procedures and CSA quality standards in all logistics activities.

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shipping/receiving area.

MUST HAVE Requirements:

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• 2+ year of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience in a manufacturing/machine shop environment.
• Rigging or heavy-lift handling experience.
• Forklift operation skills; preferably Propane Counterbalance OR Electric Reach Truck
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
