You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Excellent communication skills are essential for coordinating with other team members and supervisors. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
- Perform regular inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including general labor and manual lifting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
