A strong emphasis is placed on safety , and you must adhere to all company regulations and protocols. This role involves consistent physical activity, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Proper use of mandatory PPE , such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes, is required at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick tickets to identify and locate items.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipping.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements.
- Support overall warehouse logistics and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE .
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
