We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, ensuring the correct quantity and product are selected. Following the picking process, you will carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are secured for safe transit. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain customer satisfaction. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Proper use of required PPE , including safety shoes and vests, is mandatory at all times. The ideal candidate is a team player, can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Contribute to team goals and a positive work environment.
- Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
- Excellent time management skills.
