We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Technician in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to maintain and repair the equipment and infrastructure of our state-of-the-art distribution center. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and execute repairs on various warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and forklifts. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is required. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections and implementing maintenance schedules to ensure peak performance. Your expertise will directly impact our Logistics operations. A commitment to Safety is paramount, and you must be adept at identifying and mitigating potential hazards. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times. This role may involve some Lifting of equipment and parts. Responsibilities include: performing scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, maintaining detailed maintenance logs, ensuring all equipment complies with safety regulations, and collaborating with operations teams to address equipment needs.
