Advance your career in logistics as a Material Handler at our busy facility in Detroit, Michigan. This position is key to ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our warehouse. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, sort, and store inventory. Your tasks will include unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking items in appropriate locations, picking and packing orders, and staging goods for outgoing shipments. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are required to strictly follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE, including safety vests, helmets, and steel-toed shoes. Training on safe equipment operation and warehouse best practices will be provided. This role requires physical dexterity and the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, as well as bending and standing for extended periods. Accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory tracking is essential. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to meet daily operational goals and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
