We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Chicago, Illinois. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the moment goods arrive. Your responsibilities will include unloading shipments, inspecting items for damage, verifying quantities against shipping manifests and purchase orders, and accurately entering receiving data into our inventory management system. You will also be responsible for segregating and staging received goods for put-away or further processing. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for this position. We are committed to a safe working environment, and all employees must adhere to our strict safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE such as safety vests, gloves, and safety shoes. Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus. This role requires the ability to perform moderate lifting, typically up to 30 pounds, and the stamina to be on your feet for extended periods. You will collaborate closely with other warehouse departments to ensure a seamless flow of goods. Understanding basic logistics principles will be beneficial.
