We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for our San Diego, California location. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of our inventory and the smooth operation of our logistics processes. You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming shipments. This includes unloading delivery vehicles, meticulously inspecting goods for any damage or discrepancies, verifying contents against purchase orders, and updating our inventory system. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Safety is a top priority; you will be required to adhere to all safety regulations and utilize the necessary PPE. This role involves regular lifting and moving of received goods.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming freight from various carriers.
- Inspect all merchandise for damage, shortages, or overages.
- Accurately match received items with corresponding purchase orders and packing slips.
