Our Austin, Texas location is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team! In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves according to order lists, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected. Following the picking process, you'll meticulously package these items, preparing them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to quality. You'll be working within a dynamic Logistics environment where timely order fulfillment is paramount. We maintain a strong emphasis on workplace Safety , and all team members are expected to follow established procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE . Your contribution ensures our customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer order details using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy in product and quantity.
- Package picked items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and any necessary documentation to outgoing packages.
- Stage packed orders for shipment in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all warehouse and Safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with orders to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
