Our Tampa, Florida location is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator to manage and optimize our warehouse operations. This key role involves overseeing daily activities, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training, motivation, and performance feedback.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, audits, and system updates.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule shipments and deliveries, optimizing logistics routes and costs.
- Implement and enforce strict Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and security to ensure a productive and safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Manage warehouse supplies and equipment, ensuring they are maintained and available.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping/receiving logs, and employee performance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting a culture of Safety and continuous improvement.
