We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Salt Lake City, Utah! This dynamic role combines the tasks of accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and securely packaged. Your attention to detail and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy in product and quantity.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipping, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for both picking and packing.
- Conduct quality checks on products before packaging to ensure they meet standards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock organization as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute positively to team efforts and the smooth running of our logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting, typically up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safe and productive workspace.
