You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations departments to reconcile discrepancies and implement process improvements. Your efforts will directly impact our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position involves extensive use of inventory management software and data analysis to identify trends and potential issues. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are paramount for success in this role. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is also essential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and report on any potential shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure proper tracking of goods.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Work with management to develop inventory strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in WMS and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
