Responsibilities include reading order slips, locating items in the warehouse, accurately counting and verifying products, and packaging them securely for transit. Maintaining an organized and clean workspace is also a key duty. Adherence to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE, is essential for preventing workplace injuries. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order specifications.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and quality before packing.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipping.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Capacity for lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE application.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
