Job Summary:
Are you a meticulous individual with a passion for accuracy? We're looking for an Inventory Control Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory through diligent tracking, auditing, and discrepancy resolution. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our logistics operations. You'll conduct cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, manage inventory adjustments, and ensure our warehouse management system accurately reflects our stock levels. This is a key position for anyone looking to make a significant contribution to supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
  • Implement and manage inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Adhere to all safety standards, including the use of PPE during inventory checks.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree a plus.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
