Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in Des Moines, Iowa! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are picked correctly and efficiently. You will utilize scanning technology to locate and retrieve items, verify quantities, and stage orders for delivery. A high degree of accuracy and a commitment to safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage completed orders in the designated area for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks and cycle counts.
- Support the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment process.
- Report any stock issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehousing.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Commitment to safety standards and wearing PPE.
