Become an Order Picker at our busy Phoenix, Arizona warehouse! In this role, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from storage areas to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. This is a critical position within our logistics network, ensuring that the right products get to the right place at the right time. You will use various equipment, such as RF scanners, to navigate the warehouse and identify products. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to speed and accuracy are essential. We value safety above all else, and adherence to our safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and extensive walking and standing. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists and RF scanner prompts.
- Ensure correct product identification and quantity verification.
- Pack picked items into appropriate containers for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work station and warehouse aisles.
- Conduct basic quality control checks on picked items.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear all required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Meet established picking rates and accuracy standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
