Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including aisles and storage locations.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and PPE.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding workflow and any issues encountered.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to Safety practices and adherence to wearing required PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
